After 31 years of doing business in Winona, I’m excited to announce that I have agreed in principle on the sale of Digicom, Inc. to Bruce Bunke, Owner and President of KEY Electric and Automation, Inc. of Winona, MN. Over the years, Digicom, Inc. and the KEY Electric team have successfully worked together on many construction projects. At our core, both Bruce and I believe that our customers come first, our employees are our greatest asset, and we both believe in the people and entrepreneurial spirit of Winona and surrounding communities.

As of September 30, 2024, Digicom, Inc. will cease doing business under its current ownership but the name, Digicom, Inc., will remain the same. All existing Digicom, Inc. employees will continue providing our current customers with the same products and customer service they are accustomed to. As for me, at my request, I will be ending my tenure as President and CEO. Digicom, Inc. will continue doing business from its current location at 1736 Wilkie Drive in Winona and all Digicom, Inc. emails and phone numbers will remain the same.

On a personal note, 31 years have come and gone in a flash. It goes without saying that I have had a lot of help along the way, starting with Kent Prigge, my colleague and partner for all 31 years. Next up, Sean Malay, who was an initial investor of Digicom, Inc. and has been my Sales Manager upon him selling Audio Designs in 2013. And long-time, trusted and valued employees Rodney Merchlewitz (28 years), Matt VanGundy (18 years) and Kevin Koeller (13 Years) and Kevin Hageman (5 Years). Also, a shout out to Michael Wadewitz who was a Shareholder of Digicom from 1993 to 2001. And last but certainly not least, my wife and best friend, Michelle, and two of the best children a father could ask for, Alex and Amanda.

And finally, to my treasured and loyal customers. Thank you. Thank you for trusting me and trusting Digicom, Inc. Many of you have become friends and for that I am very grateful. I am very confident that the sale of Digicom, Inc. to Bruce Bunke and his proven leadership as a Business Owner, Contractor and Manufacturer is a great thing for the future success of Digicom, Inc.
